GoodRx: One of the most popular websites/apps around.  Just type in your medication and see what your medications will cost at each pharmacy in town.  In many cases, GoodRx prices are lower than your insurance.

Rx Hope: This great web site allows you to look up specific medications and find any prescription assistant programs available to help with the cost.

Pharmstore.com: Online Pharmacies number in the 1000’s.  This is a great web site that has a good selection of medications at a good price.

DrugCrafters.com: A local pharmacy (Frisco) that compounds medications, creams, and injectables.

State of Texas Support Programs

Texas State Health Risk Pool: The State of Texas sponsored health insurance program for anyone who does not qualify for individual or group insurance due to pre-existing factors.

CHIPS: The State of Texas sponsored healthcare program for children.

Insurance sites

Healthcare.gov: The national website to apply for the Affordable Care Act options.

EHealthInsurance: A web site dedicated to giving quotes on health insurance. Use the site to give you an idea of cost but check with a local broker since cost of plans are often less expensive than what is quoted on line. If you don’t have a broker, please ask your Personal MD office for a referral.
